Your fun can be a distraction because there is a path, there is a way; “Never stray from the way”.
The practice of being uncomfortable teaches us to stay connected with ourselves, to be curious and open. It’s hard to stay on the path of discomfort and discipline but it is the right path that will lead you to where you really want to be. Let people call you weird, mad and an idiot; stop partying and stop socializing.

Listen to me, it’s grind season and it’s not about today; it’s about the future. Your dream is still alive, have your vision clear, nobody was there to help you, go back and try again, this is your time, this is your moment.

If you concentrate solely on your career, you can get a long way in your career; that’s the strategy that a minority of people prefer for life. Working 70-80 hours a week, staking everything on a small probability but it’s really hard to “not have a life”, “not have a family” and these people don’t know “how to take any leisure activity”. I am not saying “don’t have fun”, or “don’t sing, dance or play”; but I think you have to make sure you don’t dance your life away
